every phase of the Product Launch Continuum.
Norma Zippin created NZ Focus in 2001 after 20 successful years
in medical marketing. NZ reflects the manufacturer's perspective
gleaned from experience in pharmaceuticals, medical devices
and healthcare issues among leading healthcare corporations
and emerging start-ups.
As Director of Patient Marketing at Gynecare and Director of
Marketing at TheraSense, NZ worked with start-up ventures to
deliver highly successful launch offensives, positioning the
companies for major acquisitions by J&J and Abbott Labs.
NZ held
key consulting and marketing positions with The Wilkerson
Group and Winthrop Pharmaceuticals in New York; and in the
marketing/product development arena, with LifeScan and Cygnus
Therapeutic Systems in California.
NZ is co-chair of the SF chapter of the Qualitative Research
Consultants Association and member of the Peninsula Women’s
Healthcare Alliance. She was an invited speaker at the Frost
and Sullivan Medical Device Conference on Direct to Consumer
Advertising.
